At MarketPlace Fresh, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and you might need to return a product. Our return policy is designed to be fair and transparent, providing you with peace of mind when shopping with us. This policy applies to all products purchased from MarketPlace Fresh, excluding third-party products covered under separate return policies.

Delivery Policy


Scheduling Your Delivery

You can select your preferred delivery time slot at checkout. We strive to meet these delivery windows but please note, due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be slight delays.

Tracking Your Order

Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Priority Delivery Service

Available in select areas, this service offers expedited delivery. Check our website to see if Priority Delivery is available in your area.

Changed Your Mind?


Refunds

We aim to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchases. However, please note that we currently do not offer refunds for change of mind.

Exchanges 

We understand that you might change your mind about a product after purchase. We are happy to offer an exchange for products returned within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The product is returned with a receipt.

  • It is in its original condition, including packaging.

  • It has not been used, and if a perishable product, is not expired or within 2 days of expiry.

Faulty Products


With Proof of Purchase
  • If your product is faulty, we will provide a refund, replacement, or repair. We reserve the right to refuse a refund, repair, or replacement if the product is not faulty or has been misused. 

  • For high-value products, an assessment may be required before a remedy is provided. You may choose to directly liaise with the manufacturer for convenience. Products should be returned to any MarketPlace Fresh store service desk, with any return costs borne by the customer.

Without Proof of Purchase

For returns without proof of purchase, we may offer a MarketPlace Fresh returns card to the value of the purchase price or, where applicable, return the product to the manufacturer for repair or exchange.

Identification Required

Identification showing your name, address, and signature will be required for returns without proof of purchase for loss prevention purposes.

Rainchecks

Please note that rainchecks will not be available on any advertised stock for the foreseeable future.

Fresh or Free Guarantee


Our Fresh or Free Guarantee means we’ll refund AND replace* any fresh food you're not satisfied with. This applies to unpackaged products from our Fresh departments and any packaged products with the Fresh or Free symbol. Some exclusions apply.

Additional Information


  • For products too large or affixed to return in-store, please contact us for arrangement.

  • Please return the product with all accessories and instruction manuals.

  • Be aware that repairing a product may result in the loss of user-generated data.

  • Refurbished parts may be used for repairs, or products may be replaced with refurbished goods of the same type.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a refund or replacement for major failures and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
